Waiting....Waiting....Waiting....

I thought I'd update my blog as I've got a hour to go untill my new car gets delivered to me...well not new as in NEW but a NEW car to me..does that sound goobly gook? anyway..my car is due to come to me at 1pm it's a RAV4 cruiser..OH WHAT A FEELING TOYOTA !!!!!!!!!...pictures to come later I'm sure. So I'm really excited and can't wait, a little nervous about driving it for the first time on my own but I'm sure once I'm on the road I'll be fine.
This weekend my bitch N stitch friends and myself are going away to Philip Island, we are leaving tomorrow morning, (friday) and coming back Monday, our plans are to sew but those other 2 have decided unless I bring DH's quilt to finish I'm not going, so when I am picked up in the morning I'm sure "quilt Customs" will want to search my luggage to ensure I've packed it.
I will take my digy cam with me to Philip Island and get some pictures of us working hard...lol..we are staying in house that has a balcony which looks out over Smiths Beach, may even take a walk to the beach and get some piccies...that's if the quilt police let me out..
I hope everyone is enjoy their week, I'll be posting again next week with some pics ..
remember.........OH WHAT A FEELING !!!!!!!!!!!!

MAN OF THE HOUSE

I received this email the other day and just had to share it with you all.

The
husband had just finished reading a new book entitled, 'You Can Be
the Man of Your House.'
He stormed to his wife in the kitchen
and announced, 'From now on,
you need to know that I am the
man of this house and my word is law. You
will prepare me a
gourmet meal tonight, and when I'm finished eating
my meal,
you will serve me a sumptuous dessert. After dinner, you
are
going to go upstairs with me and we will have the kind of
sex that I want.

Afterwards,
you are going to draw me a bath so I can relax. You will
wash
my back and towel me dry and bring me my robe.
Then, you will
massage my feet and hands. Then tomorrow, guess
who's
going to dress me and comb my hair?
The
wife replied, 'The “F@#*&” funeral director would be my
first
guess.'

SISTERHOOD AWARD - OOOOHAAAAAHH

During the week I went into my blog and saw I'd received a comment, to my surprise I had received the this award from Julie in Tennesee. For me that was special award to receive, Julia and I have left comments on each other's blogs and in another blog there was a giveway and both julia and I had entered it, but she wrote that she would like give her "spot" to me, such kindness of someone to do that for a total stranger, so thankyou Julie for both the award and your kind words.

Now to the award -

Quilt Show

Sunday 1st March, my friend Mandy (non blogger) and I went to Australian Quilt Convention at the Exhibition Buildings, I picked up a few bits and pieces but in all honesty there was nothing that really took my fancy, I think the Quilt show at Jeff's shed is so much better. But it was still nice to go there as it's a lovely old building both inside and out, and the museum is directly opposite.

Did the earth move for you.

Last Night Melbourne experienced a earth tremor, I was sitting bitchin stitchin, when I felt the house shake, my DD came out of her room and said that was a big gust of wind, but told her it was actually a Earth Tremor, you could feel it moving through the house, it was a weird experience I can tell you. The herald sun newspaper reported at being 4.6 which is quiet a moderate shake for us. I heard that we could experience after shocks today but are unlikely to feel them.
Did the earth move for you?
